CASCADE® State-of-the-Art PRP Therapy
PRP Concepts™, Inc., is the developer, manufacturer, and distributor of the Cascade Autologous Platelet System (CASCADE), an FDA-cleared medical device that creates three distinct, state-of-the-art platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapies at the patient’s point of care, from as little as 10-20 mL of the patient’s own blood.
The CASCADE device isolates the platelets and plasma from the collected blood and processes them to create CASCADE PRP Membrane shown to the right. The platelets in the CASCADE Membrane remain intact and viable for up to seven days. When applied to chronic and surgical wounds, the platelets release the patient’s own important growth factors that initiate and support an optimal wound healing trajectory.
